Download the App

Get NoteTaking from the Google Play Store. It's free to download and takes just seconds to install on your Android device.

Create Your First Note

Tap the + button to create a new note. Use the rich text editor to format your text, add colors, and make it look great.

Organize with Tags

Add tags and folders to keep your notes organized. Use colors and categories to find what you need instantly.

Sync & Secure

Enable Google Drive sync for automatic backups. Set up biometric lock to keep your sensitive notes private and secure.

Rich Text Editing

Select any text and apply formatting — bold, italic, underline, or custom colors. Create beautiful, structured notes that are easy to read and share.

Checklists & To-Dos

Convert any line into a checkbox with a single tap. Track your progress with visual indicators. Perfect for shopping lists, project tasks, and daily goals.

Voice Recording

Tap the microphone icon to record voice memos directly inside a note. Playback is smooth and recordings are stored securely on your device.

Photo Attachments

Attach photos from your gallery or take a new picture with your camera. Images are embedded right into your notes for visual context.

Biometric Security

Go to Settings > Security to enable fingerprint or face unlock. You can lock individual notes or the entire app. A PIN backup is always available.

Google Drive Sync

Sign in with your Google account in Settings > Backup. Your notes are automatically backed up to your personal Google Drive app data folder. Restore on any device.

Reminders

Tap the reminder icon on any note to set a one-time or recurring alarm. Choose daily or weekly repeats. You'll get a notification right on time.

Version History

Every edit is tracked automatically. Open a note and tap the history icon to browse previous versions and restore any past state with one tap.

Pro Tip: Use the home screen widget to create quick notes without even opening the app. Long-press your home screen, select widgets, and add the NoteTaking "Quick Note" widget.
